- read article in Espresso 2 pagina 20 capitolo 2 lezione 1 (see handout as well); discussed content then identified nouns of animals and completed singular/plural exercise in handout and completed labeling on page 21
- pairwork - asked and answered questions regarding pets, pet preferences (second page of handout)
- listened to dialogue (Espresso 2 pagina 22 esercizio 3 - transcipt also in handout) - discussed what conversation was about then completed vero/falso exercise on pagina 21
- identified all verbs in the imperfetto tense and completed table on pagina 22 as well as verb table in handout - completed table is also attached if you want to check your answers
- pairwork - based on pagina 22 lezione 4: students chose to be either Michele or Clara and wrote up a description of childhood memories based on the phrases given (io point of view). Then each partner repeated what they had heard, naturally changing the point of view to lui/lei
- Homework: write a piece on your own childhood memories
- ended the lesson by listening to song 'Meraviglioso' (see handout) and filling in blanks in lyrics
