If you missed the lesson mercoledi' 28 agosto - here is a summary of what was covered:
- we began by revising direct object pronouns lo, la, li, le (see table in handout below) and the 'particella ci' - when the verb 'avere' is used to signify 'possession' it is preceded by ce + the pronouns lo, la. li. le. eg: Ce l'hai la patente? Si' ce l'ho. Remember - when this combination is used in the 'passato prossimo' (past) verb tense, the past participle must agree with the object in gender and number eg: Hai letto il libro? Si' l'ho letto / Hai chiuso le finestre? Si' le ho chiuse / Hai comprato il vino? Si' l'ho comprato. (notice lo and la drop the vowel before the verb 'ho' while li and le do not)
- next we listened to the dialogue (pagina 48 esercizio 8) and filled in the blanks - then analysed and wrote down in 'espressioni utili' text box the useful expressions one might use when making arrangements.
- then we answered the questions (see handout) on content
- groupwork followed 'Mettiamoci d'accordo' whereby students wrote up and role-played making arrangements to meet and go out together
- finally, the flashcards on last page of handout were used to play a game to practice the use of indirect object pronoun and agreement of past participle eg: Hai gia' comprato i biglietti? Si' li ho gia' comprati.
- BUON LAVORO!
