-revised previous week's grammar point on passato prossimo of volere, dovere, potere by completing esercizio 10, pagina 115 - paying particular attention when using volere, potere, dovere and reflexive verbs:
-with reflexives one can use either essere or avere
-essere is used when the reflexive pronoun precedes the verb eg: Danila si e' dovuta alzare presto
-avere is used when the reflexive pronoun is added to the infinitive form of the verb eg: Marco ha dovuto alzarsi presto.
-A listening exercise followed [esercizio 13, pagina 11 - see transcript below] and in pairs the blanks in the table completed with content from the interviews
-Telling a story followed based on images - esercizio 1, pagina 117 - then the story verified by listening to the song [lyrics pagina 118] and checking for understanding by identifying which of the expressions provided [bottom pagina 118] match expressions used in the song
